We style gorgeous wedding and civil ceremony flowers in glorious rural Northumberland
We founded C & C Floral Design several years ago through a shared passion for flowers and weddings, and a great friendship. With over 30 years of floristry experience between us, we work mostly in our home county of Northumberland covering its most stunning venues such as Newton Hall, Ellingham Hall and one of our long time favourites Doxford Barn.
We create beautiful floral styling by working with the seasons and sourcing flowers from British and Dutch growers, ensuring you receive the best quality blooms at all times. Our flower style is that of the English country garden. We use many of our favourite flowers such as hydrangeas, peonies, roses, sweet peas, dahlias and ranunculus to name a few!
How we work
Weddings are our thing – we love everything about them! If you would like to make an enquiry the first thing to do is fill out the enquiry form on our contacts page. Once this is done Cate or Catherine will contact you to arrange a little meet up or chat over the phone. The purpose of this is so we can get to know each other, we want you to choose a florist who inspires you, makes you feel comfortable and most importantly is someone you can trust with your big day! Please feel free to bring along any pictures, swatches, pintrest boards and any examples of things you like.
We will then put together a bespoke quote for you. If you wish to save the date with us, then we ask for a £100 booking fee, this will be deducted from your final bill. You are free at anytime to change your mind about anything on your quote, we are totally flexible. Experience has taught us there are usually the inevitable tweaks to be made nearer the date!
We’ll stay in touch with you in the months leading up to your wedding day, on the day itself we’ll personally deliver your flowers and set up your reception and church flowers if needed. If you find you need help with moving flowers between between locations for example from the church to your reception, please mention this and we’ll do our very best to help out.
